Dear & Revd. Sir,

I regret to be obliged to trouble you, but I should indeed be very grateful if you could kindly furnish me with a certificate of the above-named girl's baptism from your Register. According to our records the Sacrament was administered to her in Ashford Church during the month of May, 1892, and the Christian names of her mother and father are respectively: - E, and H. F was born in the year 1886, and was for some years under our care.
