Dear Sir,

In reply to your letter, we will most gladly see how far it may be possible for the Society to assist with the child in whom you are interested, especially as I note he is the sone of one of the Society's "old girls." I am glad to hear that, with the exception of this one lapse F is apparently in all other aspects most satisfactory, and I need scarcely say that if we can see our way to meet your wishes, in the circumstances, we shall be only too pleased. Will you kindly therefore, have the enclosed fill in as fully as possible and return to this office, when you may rest assured that the application will have every consideration.
