after him. G I believe would like to begin as an Under Gardner, but if he went to Mackie & Gladstone's he could take a situation he would prefer when he found an opening. Mrs is anxious for her boys to do well & does not with to stand in their way. The relieving Officer thinks that G might come & help his mother. If you approve of the plan, may he come as quickly as possible & reach home on Monday that he may begin work on Tuesday? The [?] wants him for Christmas pressure to begin. They would have liked him at noon on Monday, but I told his mother perhaps you could not send him till Monday, Sunday being a day between. He knows nothing
