10. Letter from Miss W. 16 December 1904

View the Case Summary.

about his mother's wish to have him home. She is very grateful for all the kindness he has received since he went as a small boy to the Rock Ferry Home. She is not strong, as she says in her note, but she does her best in what no must be a hard struggle.

If G comes home I will pay his fare, if you will kindly let me know how much it is a little later on - his mother cannot possibly do so.

It seems a pity for a boy with country tastes to come to town work where there is such competition, but I suppose it cannot be helped.

yours very truly
(Miss) W
