Aug. 31. My dear Sir, Absence from home has prevented my replying to yours immediately. I feel much the perplexity and anxiety of this case. my subscriber naturally only undertook to support the poor child until she was 14. being given over to your Socy. we have not kept up any [?] with her, [?] I maintain with those we have supported in our own Cottage homes in Suffolk, and I have no on who knows her, or feels Overwritten in pencil: Ack 1/8/94
