Dear Mr. Carter,
I have just received intimation to the effect that the two girls referred to in the enclosed will be committed to the St. Michael's HOme, and will in all probability be brought on Friday next. They were to be sent to our Beckett Home, Meanwood, but that Home unfortunately is already quite full, so that I have authorised their being sent to Shipton instead. Will you kindly inform Miss Long, and let me know whether the children are actually received on Friday?
