Dear Sir,
re M
I have to thank you for your letter of yesterday in informing me that you have received the consent of the L.O.B. to the payment of maintenance for the above child int he Society's St. Barnabas' Home, Newark, although not certified. It is only right, however, that I should tell you that owing to some misunderstandings the girl was transferred from our St. Michael's Home, Shipton, to the Home referred to on the 1st May; the date of my last communication to you respecting the transfer.
I remain,
Yours faithfully,
sgd. E de M R
The Clerk to the Union Worksop
