Dear Col. Peirse,
Will you please let me know by return if you have room for the girls referred to in the enclosed, in the Beckett Home. I observe that they have already been committed to that Home but it is only a question whether there is any room for them. I hope however, that this may be the case as I am very anxious that the Guardians undertake to make full payment, I presume, including the Treasury Grant of 7/6 a week for each child.
