were paid for, and which the tradesman thought were for Mrs. B. - at another shop the girl seems to have been a constant customer, going there twice a week, and the woman who kept the shop congratulated herself on having secured Dr B. custom. In my opinion the whole difficulty would have been avoided if Dr. B. had been approached in a different manner. The whole idea seems to have been to shield the girl as far as possible and withhold sympathy from a deeply-wronged employer.
