is, that she must go to the workhouse infirmary, until she seems [?] any large cheques shd be placed in my hands (as has sometimes happened) or if any influx shd give me a margin in the funds wh are, at the precise moment, absolutely exhausted, I will gladly send you a share towards the expenses you have incurred for A. since June, but I must frankly confess I have no such prospect at the present moment.
